Photographs from the Sparroworks
I am a biologist and naturally many of my subjects are of wildlife, with a heavy emphasis on birds, but there are plenty of other pictures to enjoy here if your fancy lies elsewhere .... I'm not a purist in these matters and actually find myself more and more moving in the direction of landscape images in recent times.
If you would like to use one of my images, please respect the fact that all images on this site are copyright and may not be reproduced without express permission - which does not mean to say that I am necessarily seeking a fee for reproduction; much depends on what you want the picture for so feel free to enquire. I am usually very happy to allow reproduction, especially to non-profit and charitable organisations, but I do like to keep track of where my pictures appear so please ask how to arrange this. Commercial use requires prior written permission and payment at fair market value.
A very small selection of my work is also available at Imagekind where you have the opportunity to purchase fine-art prints, greetings cards etc.
A sample of my pictures can be seen below:

White-crowned Sparrow (there have to be sparrow pictures here!)

Green Heron, caught in "Japanese" mode at St-Thimothée, Québec

January dawn on the St-Lawrence River shoreline opposite Ste-Anne-de-Bellevuew, QC - temperature minus 30degC

Chesterman Beach on the west coast of Vancouver Island near Tofino - approaching sunset

A Warbling Vireo in spring ... Parc Nature des Bois de l'Ile-Perrot, Montréal

Marsh Wren telling the photographer that he isn't wanted around here

Finally - early morning at Kenauk. Where else would you want to be, given the choice?
